Mcor Launches New Color Desktop 3D Printer
January 8, 2016
Wednesday industry disruptor Mcor Technologies introduced its new full-color desktop 3D printer, the MCor ARKe at CES in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first printer from the company to bring their industrial-based technology into the body of a printer that you can share a desk with. According to the release, the printer is low cost, reliable, and safe, which allows for a broader audience to buy-in across multiple industries. The ARKe will be on display now through January 9, Sands Expo Booth 72916 at the convention so users can see what full-color 3D printing is all about.
The ARKe, in order to broaden the audience, has introduced the following abilities into the printer:
CEO Dr. Conor MacCormack said, “ Our mission is to put a 3D printer in every office, classroom, and eventually every home, and Mcor ARKe is a huge step in that direction. The launch of Mcor ARKe is a defining moment for Mcor and the 3D printing industry, much like the iPhone was for Apple and the 747 was for Boeing. I believe that this is a disruptive step that will transform this industry stimulating widespread adoption of 3D printing particularly in education and among creative professional. Further, we have already received over 2,500 pre-orders for Mcor ARKe and anticipate unrivalled demand in 2016.”
The Mcor ARKe has an initial launch price of $5,995 USD for the CES conference. It is anticipated to begin shipping in Q2 2016 which isn’t really that far away. For more information about ARKe, please visit the Mcor website: www.mcortechnologies.com.
