Samsung Launches New Series of Laser Printers
March 8, 2016
Today Samsung Electronics announced the new ProXpress C30 series aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises. Among the strengths and advantages of the series are lower operating costs and improved productivity. The three new units that make up the series are the C3010ND, the C3060ND, and the C3060FR.
David SW Song, Senior Vice President of Printing Solutions Business at Samsung Electronics said, "Samsung Electronics has established itself in providing products that offer reliable performance with a low total cost of ownership (TCO) for small- and medium-sized enterprises and workgroup users. With an array of business-efficient printing devices, Samsung will continue to develop a smart office environment that enhances document management."
With these latest units, businesses will be able to lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) for printing through high-yield toner cartridges designed to keep up in high-volume printing environments. With Samsung’s Instant Fusing System technology wait times for output are reduced as well as quicker prints and copies and decreased energy consumption. .
With this new series of devices, Samsung also continues to provide excellent graphics quality through their ReCP (Rendering Engine for Clean Page) technology which delivers resolutions of up to 9,600 x 600 dpi. With ReCP, printed, copied, and scanned documents as well as images are optimized, leaving out unnecessary details and unclear elements are enhanced.
Compared to previous Samsung printers and multifunction devices, this latest series has improved print speeds from 26 ISO ppm to 30 ISO ppm, toner yield up to 8K and 5K, and increased the paper capacity to 1,400 sheets. The 800MHz dual CPU processor is 50% faster than previous models and the processes used in printing, scanning, and copying have been enhanced as well.
The new C30 series also works seamlessly with any Samsung eXtensible Open Architecture (XOA) device plus independent software vendor (ISV) solutions including Rindale, Scanshare, and Cirrato. For more information about the devices, users can download and use the Samsung Printing Catalog app which provides user-friendly guidelines about Samsung printers and copiers.
