Xerox MPS Transforms Operations For Multinational Law Firm
April 5, 2016
Here at Castle Ink, we’ve talked at length about the benefits of MPS to businesses of all sizes. Today, MPS leader Xerox who has a long and honored history in managed print reported on their efforts with top multinational law firm Hogan Lovells has renewed their MPS contract with the company for an additional five years. Xerox will help the firm successfully navigate the latest available technology surrounding digital services. By transitioning to a more digital base, Hogan Lovells will be able to simply, streamline, and enhance the manner in which they interact with clients.
According to Mike Feldman, president, Large Enterprise Operations, Xerox, "Hogan Lovells recognizes the benefits of digitization and the firm is taking the necessary steps to achieve it. By tapping Xerox’s technology and services, they can now refine how they engage with customers, partners and employees."
To move forward with their transition successfully, Hogan Lovells first spoke with Xerox and other external consultants to discover the best areas on which to focus their innovation efforts. As part of the new contract with Xerox, the OEM will help the law firm to successfully deploy mobile printing capabilities, thereby improving efficiencies of work for employees regardless of their location. Secondly, Hogan Lovells will pilot Xerox’s Print Awareness Tool as part of their Green Committee initiatives which leads the organizations sustainability practices.
Scott Green, chief operating and financial officer, Hogan Lovells, stated, "As a law firm, we needed the support of a flexible vendor with expertise in areas such as workflow efficiency, data security, cost control, productivity, convenience and the environment. This solution is tailored to our unique needs and will help improve our workforce productivity and meet corporate social responsibility goals, such as our Redefined Engagement and Green Committee initiatives."
Moving forward, Xerox will continue to provide their MPS solutions for office and production solutions across 13 of the law firms offices. These services will include fleet management, toner replenishment, national print and copy production centers, national fax routing, mail/messenger services, legal records administration, document scanning and digitization, and computer and conference room setups.
