PrintFleet and Photizo Partner Up
November 2, 2015
Last week it was announced that Canadian-based MPS firm PrintFleet, Inc., a recognized leader in managed print software (MPS), has partnered with Photizo Group, a top flight market intelligence and consulting firm, to create a predictive analytics process for just-in-time(JiT) toner delivery.
As part of the agreement, the two leading firms will join together their expertise in data collection and research along with device analysis, industry analysis, and external data to develop a robust JiT toner delivery system for the imaging industry. The goal of developing this solution is that companies will be able to leverage the information collected and lower their supply costs by stopping unnecessary toner shipments regardless of their place in the supply chain. The new solution, in combination with PrintFleet’s existing LINK™ Supplies Fulfillment, a machine-to-machine automation of supply delivery, will reduce toner waste and results in a better, more proactive system for the delivery of imaging supplies.
Chris McFarlane, CEO, PrintFleet, said, "In concert with our clients we have worked with Photizo Group, sharing data and resulting analytics for many years and look forward to creating a more robust JiT model for toner delivery for the imaging industry. As a first step this will propel the imaging industry supply chain to the next level of efficiency and effectiveness. PrintFleet strives to ensure our partners can manage by fact, through this model we are taking it even further."
Scott Hornbuckle, Practice Director—Predictive Analytics, Photizo, stated, "We have worked with PrintFleet for several years and look forward to bringing a co-developed JiT automated toner delivery solution to the market. In a market where operational efficiency is key, we are excited to leverage our expertise and investment in predictive analytics to create value for our clients in a way that directly impacts their business and financial results in a positive way."
