Konica Minolta Releases Updated Mobile Printing App

Earlier this week U.S. subsidiary Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. (KMBS) announced a new major upgrade to their popular EveryonePrint (EOP) mobile print software solution as version 4.0 comes to market. This solution works for organizations of all types and sizes to provide workers the ability to print from their notebooks or mobile devices quickly and easily. Also included for use with bizhub® printers is the bEST certified App for secure release of print jobs.
EOP from Konica-Minolta is straightforward to install, and easy to use with full IT Administrator control. It is an ideal solution for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments that features secure cloud/on-premise mobile printing as well as simple licensing with unlimited mobile device users. According to KMBS, EOP v4.0 is the only enterprise mobile print system which is compatible with Linux Enterprise and IBM System x mainframes.
The latest version builds on the success of previous iterations, expanding on the usability, security, and functionality that is associated with EveryonePrint. It comes with several new features and server clustering capabilities which provide for integration with top EMM/MDM (Enterprise Mobility Management/Mobile Device Management) solutions in addition to new and improved apps for iOS, Android, and Windows 8 mobile devices. Among the options for native printing from mobile devices are e-mail, web, driver, Android (Google), and AirPrint.
